Hello and welcome to my food blog.

I thought I would begin my online journey with a little introduction. I grew up in the Highlands of Scotland and recently moved to Glasgow. The blog is something I have wanted to start for a while but there was always something stopping me. Time being the main issue. However, I do spend a lot of time being very unproductive so hopefully this little venture will inspire me to make better use of my time.

After University I moved to South Korea to teach English for a year. Whilst I was there I would regularly visit the capital, Seoul, in search of the best places to eat Western food. (Don’t judge me, I ate Korean ALL the time and loved it, but sometimes I just wanted something a little less Korean and a little bit more familiar). On my search for such home comforts I discovered a British food blogger living in Seoul. Her posts not only helped me choose where my friends and I would eat next, but they also inspired me to start thinking of food blogging as something I could do.

However, it has taken me four years to bite the bullet and actually go for it. What has really motivated me and given me the final shove in the right direction is the fact that I live in Glasgow which has an amazing food scene, I love to eat out and there is already an amazing food blogging community. (Also I have never really had a hobby so this can be one right?)

Through this blog I hope to document places I visit in Glasgow and beyond, as well as my own home-cooking experiences. Please bare with me over the next few weeks, months or even years as I try and find my feet.

Thanks for reading,

K x
