Is a trip to London complete without a bottomless brunch?
At the beginning of May I took a road trip to London to visit some friends. After a rather tipsy Saturday night out in Tooting it was time to head into the centre of London for my first ever bottomless brunch.
We booked a table at Spaghetti House, Haymarket (there are quite a few different locations in London) for 2:30pm so I had plenty of time to pull myself together.
After being stuck on the tube for 45 minutes longer than expected on a sweltering hot day, we finally arrived just after 3:00pm. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our prosecco was being poured within minutes of us sitting down.
By this point I was had made a full recovery and was ready to eat some delicious food. For some strange reason I tried to be semi healthy in my ordering starting with salmon and sourdough toast, followed by a burrata salad. Both courses were tasty however I was a little disappointed in the salad as it literally was a few leaves and a small scattering of olives, tomatoes and avocado. The burrata was good though, very creamy and fresh.
By this point, despite only having a salad as my main (somebody may have given me a slice of their pizza), I was feeling very full.
We had a short break before our profiteroles arrived. This was by far my favourite course. The pastry was perfect and they were completely stuffed with cream. I think I managed to eat them all but one.
I would definitely visit Spaghetti House again. The food is fairly simple but great value for money. For just £29 you get three courses and 90 minutes of unlimited prosecco. Can I also point out again that this is in the centre of London. Very cheap for this location.
As always, thanks for reading.
P.S. They have 10 locations in London so if you’re interested just pop on over to their website and see where is closest.
